A Few Notes About, Rules of Registry, DNA & Embryos:
Rules of Registry:
All animals should be submitted to Grassroots online registry before age two.
”No Valais Blacknose sheep born in the US older than 24 months of age and not entered into a Registry or database elsewhere may be registered/recorded with the VBSS. No animal shall be accepted for inclusion into the database after it is two years old unless, in the opinion of the Board of Directors, the case merits special consideration. Registration fees will be doubled on animals not submitted before they reach 18 months of age.”

About DNA:
ALL DNA submissions are centralized through the Society. Please visit our DNA Submissions page and follow the instructions outlined.
About Embryos:
All embryo documents remain on our
Forms and Policies page.
All Embryo Transfer Registrations must be submitted online through the ET Registration Submission process.
